Meeting 2: BIM Process Design Meeting


The goal of the second meeting will be to collaboratively design the information flow process along Project Process Maps shall contain a detailed process plan that clearly defines the different activities to be performed, who will perform them, and what information will be created and shared with future processes. The agenda for this meeting will include:
  1. Introduce the project process maps to the entire team,
  2. Review of the project process maps,
  3. Review of the information exchange requirements (use the Information Exchange Requirement Worksheet to guide discussion), and
  4. Collect further details on the project process.

This meeting is expected to last one full working day and should be attended by all the pertinent project team members, or at least a representative from the architect, owner, contractor, designers and all engineers on board.

Prior to meeting 3, the BIM Team at Penn State will analyze the outcome of the meeting 2, document and distribute the meeting minutes, update the project specific process maps, and finalize the model progression documents as per discussion with the BIM Coordinator.
